A few of my favorite things: a gift guide for 2018.

If one thing is absolutely certain in my marriage, it is that my husband is by far the better gift wrapper. I can never seem to get the scissors to magically glide through the paper or make the edges line up the way he can. But even Craig would tell you that I am better when it comes to picking out the perfect gifts for friends and family. And while receiving gifts is at the very bottom of my love languages, few things make me as happy as giving them, so without further ado, I present to you an abbreviated list of my favorite things from 2018 in the event that you are still searching for your own loved ones.

One. // This sweatshirt from Preemptive Love is one of my very favorite purchases of 2018. It’s so soft and cozy that I never want to take it off. Plus, when you purchase from Preemptive Love, your dollars go so much farther than the amazing goods you receive, which is an even better reason to buy.

Two. // It’s hard for me to get behind a lot of the quippy, platitude laden contemporary Christian music on the radio. Audrey Assad has been one of my favorite artists for probably a decade because of her thoughtful, honest lyrics and beautifully crafted melodies. She’s the real deal, so when I had the chance to back the Kickstarter for this album, there was no hesitation.

Three. // Um, hi, hello, how adorable are these tea towels? I’ll take ten (of each).

Four. // This gorgeous locket comes in two sizes (link is for the larger) and is the perfect addition to any outfit. Plus, it comes with the loveliest scripture card.

Five. // Give the gift of Good News (that keeps giving all year long!) this Christmas. Seriously, you guys, I want to give a subscription to everyone I know.

Six. // I cannot even help myself with this one. This was the best book I read this year. Shannan writes the truest things with the heart of a friend who loves you enough to invite you into her beautifully ordinary story. Her friendship makes me a better human being, and these words were a balm for my soul.

Seven. // This gorgeous print from All Good Things Collective is sure to add beauty to any home.

Eight. // A smart watch that doesn’t discriminate between iPhone and Android users? This Google Pixel 2 user says yes, please! You can get this one for less than $180 until December 6. I’m all heart eyes for the rose gold one!

I hope you love and are inspired by these suggestions! Happy gift giving and receiving, friends!
